Letter from the Board of Directors of the Irish Center
Dear Friends and Supporters,
As you all know, Government guidance dictates that our Irish Center remain closed to the public until the end of April. While we are missing having a full house here at the Center, we believe this is the best course of action to slow the spread of COVID-19. We are joining the Irish community and our neighbors here in Mount Airy in doing our small part to “flatten the curve.”
As we all face disruptions to our daily lives and we cannot see you in person during this time, we want to make sure that our community remains connected. While the Center is closed, our board members, manager and volunteers are taking turns to work on structural improvements and check items off our to-do list. Please know that we are working on making our Center better than ever for the day when we can open our doors and welcome all of you back.
Please keep in touch, especially via our Facebook page. Tag us in your posts and we will share. If you have questions about scheduling an event at the Irish Center, please feel free to contact John Nolan at irishcentermgmt@gmail.com and he will respond as soon as possible.
