Many throughout the Philadelphia Irish community know and love Marianne MacDonald as a former Irish radio personality, a dedicated special needs teacher, and the organizer of memorable Irish music tours throughout Ireland, helping countless people connect with Ireland’s culture, music, and traditions.

Recently, Marianne experienced the devastating loss of a house fire and is now facing the difficult challenge of moving from temporary hotel accommodations into a rental home while repairs to her house are underway.

For many years, Marianne has been a familiar and welcoming presence in our community, sharing her love of Irish music and culture and creating opportunities for others to experience Ireland in a meaningful way. Now she needs our support.
